School's Out For Summer

School's out.

And for once, I can't say I feel very happy about it.Because next year, there will be big changes, and lots of empty spaces.

My favorite teacher, Mrs. Kasel, will be gone.

11 teachers, plus 3 others, are leaving.

80% of my close friends have graduated, and will be gone.

Our certified hangout is being infested by MallGoths.

I just.... can't feel very happy about school being over.

John Goodman's Third Nipple

Xmas kinda sucked, actually!

I felt bad that my parents spent their hard-earned cash on the gifts that I disliked.
I'm not trying to seem selfish, but it felt like they barely know me at all.

So I'm gonna take some gifts back and buy me a bunch of hookers.

Wednesday, December 13

I got nothing.

Clark might buy a Wii!

We're playing Pirates of the Carribean music in band.
It's Satanic.

I LOVE the Cky videos.
CKY is a line of movies that Bam and his crew made before Jackass.

I'm seeing Dir en Grey on Valentine's Day.
Last concert: May 22nd, HIM

Saturday, December 2

I'm Still Here!

IT'S BEEN A WHILE!

First of all, I have officially ended the bi-weekly tyranny that was my job at LaVonne's. No more hearing about her dog, her sink that was supposed to be installed a year ago, and the stump in her front yard.
I now work at the bowling alley, where I assist little kids and try not to step on anyone's toes.
Joel, the owner, also owns one of the top 10 bowling alleys in Minnesota, so I'm actually excited to witness this makeover firsthand.

THEY WANT HALO!
And I'm going to suggest buying a DDR machine.

Xmas is just (checks calendar)....23 days until Xmas, and I'm SO excited because my parents are buying me a new camera, and Clark is buying me a Creative Zen Mp3 player!

I read Journals again over the past few weeks, and it's...alright. I'm not always sure what to make of it.
Courtney's book is more of a scrapbook, you can tell that they added pictures and stuff in, which is okay but it kind of takes away from the original form of the letters, diary entries and poems.
Considering it was $15 more than Journals (though hardcover) they should have added much more.

I'm reading Survivor and Choke again.
God, Survivor is so good.
Groin-grabbingly good!

Uh....

This is Homecoming Week!

Yes, the time has come once again for Homecoming week, a 5-day excursion of school spirit and excuses to wear wacky outfits.

This is also a good time to take notice that our school has less school spirit than ever, and hardly anyone takes part in the dress-up days.

What, or whom,. is to blame for this?

I would say, kids these days are "too cool."

In many TV shows and movies, the idea of the "cool" and "popular" kids were cheerleaders.

We don't have a cheerleading squad.

In many TV shows and movies, the "cool" or "popular" kids were Prom King and Queen.

We don't have Prom Queens and Kings.

However, we do have students who drive "cool" cars, wear Hollister and Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle, etc. and generally lack in intelligence.Unfortunately, that is not much of a generalization.

ANYWAYS...I ditched the Coronation this afternoon, and I felt SO DIRTY!!! Lolz my heart was pounding

[_____.on.the.road.again.//]

I'm leaving for NYC tomorrow at 4 pm central time.

We'll be in the bus for 24 hours, with a few breaks.

I'll be back on the 7th.

On the 11th, I'm going to San Antonio for a youth trip.

Expect pictures and recaps.

Monday, June 12

[.take.a.little.trip.with.me.//]

I start driver's training on Monday.

I generally dislike band practice due to the time.

I dislike Carlos Mencia.

I went shopping yesterday.

I don't want to waste my summer.

"How About Those Toads..."

BERLIN (AP) - More than 1,000 toads have puffed up and exploded in a Hamburg pond in recent weeks, and German scientists still have no explanation for what's causing the combustion.

Both the pond's water and body parts of the toads have been tested, but scientists have been unable to find a bacteria or virus that would cause the toads to swell up and pop, said Janne Kloepper, of the Hamburg-based Institute for Hygiene and the Environment.
"It's absolutely strange," she said. "We have a really unique story here in Hamburg. This phenomenon really doesn't seem to have appeared anywhere before."

The toads at a pond in the upscale neighbourhood of Altona have been blowing up since the beginning of the month, filling up like balloons until their stomachs suddenly burst. "It looks like a scene from a science-fiction movie," Werner Schmolnik, the head of a local environment group, told the Hamburger Abendblatt daily.
"The bloated animals suffer for several minutes before they finally die." Biologists have come up with several theories, but Kloepper said that most have been ruled out.
The pond's water quality is no better or worse than other bodies of water in Hamburg, the toads did not appear to have a disease, and a laboratory in Berlin has ruled out the possibility that it is a fungus that made its way from South America, she said. She said that tests will continue.

In the meantime, city residents have been warned to stay away from the pond.

I have, like, a billion Fight Club icons.
Yeah.

I had to work at an air show today.

Gonna play some Soul Calibur II tonight.
I am SO happy I rememberd how much I love that game.

Can anyone tell me what American History X is about, and should I see it?
Would I like it?
I've heard some things, let's say. It doesn't have anything to do with Malcom X does it?

Haha.
No?

Nothing?

Not funny to you?

Well, I'm n0t here to fucking impress you.
Get back to your slow-downloading porn and your Arctic Monkeys.

RICHARDS WILL STAR IN PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 3
(and refuses to die...)

KEITH RICHARDS' tumble out of a coconut tree in Fiji will not stop him making a cameo appearance in forthcoming blockbuster PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 3.

The ROLLING STONES guitarist was diagnosed with a blood clot on his brain after the accident in April (06), but following skull surgery doctors have now confirmed he will be well enough to star in the sequel.

Pirates Of The Caribbean star JOHNNY DEPP based his character CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW on aging rocker Richards, who will play his father in the third film.

[.schools.out.forever.]

HIM ruled beyond human comprehension.
Aiden, however, sucked, as I thought.

******************************************************
REVIEW:

So uh...Aiden came on 1st, about 45 minutes behind schedule.

Their drummer (I always devote special time to every drummer I see in concert) looked almost like Trent Reznor with eyeliner and a less distinct nose. Perhaps his cousin or something.

Myself as well as a few people around me agreed that his drumset was wimpy, it was. Especially compared to Gas' triple kick drum (he only uses one, but there is a letter on each: H I M)I felt bad/laughed at the fact that he spinned one of his sticks way too much, and it was never a true 1-finger roll, it was a wimpy spin that many of us drummers did when we started spinning.

Their lead singer has been sick lately.
He wore "The Crow" makeup and swung his mike around too much. During their last song, he was held up into the crowd (no, not crowd surfing, he was uplifted bybodyguards & fans also took hold. I snapped a picture.

When HIM finally came out, the candles around the stage lit up, and the eerie trip-hop beat began, likeat their last show @ The Quest in October, but without candles. They slowly emerge, Ville arriving last. The same indescribable feeling returns as I see Ville cooly emerge from my right of the stage. I was dissappointed to see a similar figure to what I witnessed at my very first HIM concert:A slightly bearded Ville, with chucks, black pants, a coat, a tee-shirt and a hat. UGH.
Looks like I owe a few people some Coke. (no, not that kind of coke.)

It was a wonderful show, I'm glad that I got to take all the pictures that I did, and I'm especially glad that Gas got some extended solos, as well as Linde. Burton kicked ass too. And Mige, of course, made me give a point and nod of respect more than once, and even a "yurrrr", which, in my group of Halo-playingchums is of positive notation. (WTF don't ask guys)
Ville talked to us far less than last time, the only things he really said was the greeting, the goodbye/thank you, sometimesintroducing a couple of songs, and then the "screaming nazi" part: "For all you jokesters out there like us..."
I later found out that a Screaming Nazi is a drink.
Should have known.

So um... Oct was the best, then this time, and then the 1st time in November '04. But that's not to say that all of theshows they've given me have been bad. They have all been exeptional, and I would't give up those experiences. ever.

General things I liked:
-I got to be right up by the barrier (well, I was pressed between 2 people on the barrier, so it kind of counts)
-The fact that they gave out cups of water & ice
-Pretty candles
-Just the right amount of show; not too little or too much (METALLICA, I'm looking at you guys)
-They played "Right Here In My Arms" and that was pure love.

General things I disliked:
-Ville was not shaven
-Ville didn't take off any clothes (for his sake, it gets hot up there!)
-I didn't get a drumstick or a pick, or anything else like that)
-They didn't play Dark Light
-Ville didn't speak to us that much

Really, I'm not too mad when it comes to the dislikes.
They put on one hell of a show and I'm glad.

No more school for me!

Thus begins marching season.
My shoulders hurt just thinking about it.

Wednesday, May 17

[.i.can't.complain.]

HIM concert is a week from yesterday.
I guess Clark and his uncle Luke are coming along.

Luke is cool. He's funny too.
It's cool that Clark has someone like that around.

So we voted for Class Officers yesterday, and I am unsure of the results.
I have a good shot...right?

Also, I really need to watch Fight Club.
Whether I like it or not isn't currently a concern.
It's more the fact that the book is hard to follow.

Anyways...

Hollister+Clearance+Me with over $200 to spend=Love.
Me+MAC+Over $200=Love
Me+No Worries=Love.
Me+McDonalds=Love.

Things I still need to get:
-Self-respect
-Mario Party 4
-Another 64 controller
-Mountain Dew Hoodie
-That Yogurt My Mom Used To Buy All The Time
-Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire DVD
-New DDR Dance Pads
-DDR Extreme 2
-Sims 2: Open For Business
-Sims 2: Family Fun Item Pack
-A New Video Card For My Laptop

Enough of that.

I got KH2, and Bidoe texted Friday night saying he beat the game.
That's kind of sucky, to get a game and then beat it a week later.

I still have over $100 in my pocket (Mom decided to pick up the tab for most stores) and I STILL have my family party in which to recieve more cash.

Yes life is good.
Money makes me a happy lady.

So I'm probably going to fail my Algebra test tomorrow.

I might get to Meet and Greet HIM.
More on this at 11.
